Ah yes, the time worn challenge of actually putting ourselves on our own to-do list. I love this! For me scheduling in me time is not that sexy but it works. Making time/space for Jade Egg and other Radiance practices and giving myself breaks during my day (rather than soldiering on!) and getting outside, is where I see myself giving back to me (aka self-love) I appreciate your sweetness and short but actionable tips! Go woman, you rock!

    HI SAIDA!
SINCE I AM NOT SO GOOD AT LOVING MY SELF I LOVE TO HEAR YOU TALK ABOUT IT! IT WAS NOT UNTIL LATER IN LIFE I LEARNED AND UNDERSTOOD ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE OF LOVING ONESELF.
LET ME JUST SAY HOW MUCH I APPRECIATE YOUR WORK FOR MANKIND SAIDA! THE LIVING AND SENSITIVE WAY YOU ARE DOING THIS IS FASCINATING I THINK FOR MOST PEOPLE NOT ONLY IN MY AGE AS PENSIONED BUT FOR ALL WOMEN AND MEN AS WELL SINCE WE OFTEN ARE A BIT ASHAMED TO SHOW OUR FEELINGS THINKING THAT THOUGHTS ARE MORE IMPORTANT IN LIFE.
THE WAY YOU ARE DOING THIS WITH YOUR VOICE AND LIVING CHARM HAS CONVINCED ME OF THE IMPORTANCE OF SHOWING YOUR FEELINGS AND LOVE IN THE WAY YOU JUST DO DEAR SAIDA. THERE ARE MOMENTS IN LIFE WHEN YOU FEEL A KIND OF HAPPINESS IN LIFE. ONE OF THOSE MOMENTS IS WHEN I SEE AND HEAR YOU TALK ABOUT LOVE! THANK YOU FOR BEING YOU SAIDA!

    Hi Saida,
I receive your delicious tips and so appreciate what you are doing to assist women in opening up to our beauty and sensuality. Today, St. Valentines Day I am house and animal sitting for friends who are away on vacation. I took my little four legged friend to the local park here in Toronto, where it is -7 degrees c. I decided to get on a swing and just let go!! It was so invigorating as I felt the cold fresh air on my face and also felt a sense of play and freedom. I am learning that this is just one very small thing I can do to start opening up more to myself and the world.

Happy Valentines Day and Thank You!!! xo

    Hi Saida,
First of all, thank you for being who you are and doing what you do for all of us. Now, I can honestly say that even taking the time to do this is an act of self love for me. To slow down, contemplate, even for a second, to do it now, is taking time for me. In the past I would have been oh yea, I want to do that, LATER. And then later never came. So as an act of self love I am recognizing this small but significant feat. In regard to what me feel loved it would be for my partner to do something for me, like just listen to me and be interested in what I am interested in, rather than do what he likes to do for me but which isn’t important or meaningful to me. For example, this morning I was meditating and doing some breathing practices and I wanted to do them first thing as they should not be done immediately after eating. My man made me breakfast. One he didn’t tell me. Two, he knows I don’t get up and eat right away because of these practices. Three, this is important to him because it is his way of showing love. It is what HE likes to do and thinks it should be meaningful to me. I have tried to talk to him in a nice way about this but he never seems to get it. Don’t get me wrong I appreciate his effort. But in my mind it meant more to him than me. Anyway, what can I do for radical self love? Be very aware to think loving thoughts about my body. Take time for my body. I have been doing the jade egg practices from your ebook, without the egg, as I am traveling. Today I added a breast massage.. Yesterday I did something I hadn’t done in years… I read for fun an erotic story and actually had an orgasm… I’ve been feeling pretty dead for a while so it completely shocked me… Obviously there is more going on here… hmmmm.. And I was thinking of asking my man for a massage but also I would like to give myself a foot massage, and maybe take a long hot shower and lather myself up with coconut oil, not in that order!! lol!! And I already told my man I would like to read him the story I read yesterday as he likes sexy stories! Wow! That seems like a good start:) Bottom line is I need to go slow, take time, break away from the to do list… I’m starting to get it and actually be able to practice it. Baby steps…
